| Bio: | I'm 17, a writer of moderate skill compared to the typical person my age, and a junior in high school. I enjoy musicals, singing to myself, and doing nerd-a-riffic things on my own time such as playing pen-and-paper role playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons and World of Darkness. If you ever see me without my nose stuck in a book, it means I've probably got some book I'm trying to read because someone has insisted that I read it and, well, it's either not very good or far too "deep" for me (in other words, rather than a plot it attempts to discuss philosophy and, while this is all fine and dandy, it doesn't really entrap you and pull you away into another world, it just tells you how god-awful the life you're living is). I'm a huge fantasy nerd, and I absolutely love Arthurian Legend--though my favorite character differs in each telling; Mallory's Gareth, Bradley's Morgaine, McKenzie's Guinevere, White's Merlin.... In fact, in a lot of the fanfiction I write, if you squint a little, there's a bit of King Arthur in there somewhere. I'm serious. I'm a freak. I also love the French language -- in fact, I'm currently an AP French student -- and though I don't attest to speak it fluently, I do like to occasionally use French words or phrases. I have a French teacher who happily teaches us French curse words, so if I start randomly spewing out something rather peculiar in what appears to be French, that's likely me attempting to not sound like a potty mouth. I have a boyfriend, and he's a wonderful and caring person who utterly completes me. We're two sides of the same coin (or in our case, two halves of the same d20). I'm a languages and history nerd; he's a math and chemistry nerd. He's wonderfully sweet and I'm very lucky to be with him. We've been together since September 17, 2007.
